Brett Barnes '23 Recruiting Profile

Since I was five years old, I've been playing soccer. I've wanted to play at the collegiate level since I first stepped on the field. I understand that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that has the potential to transform my life.

I'm a big guy with powerful legs and great distribution. As a team captain, I try to set an example by leading while also encouraging my teammates. I am a very coachable player who strives to be one of the hardest working players and recruits you will find.

In the classroom, I push myself by enrolling in extremely difficult courses. I also work part-time as a busboy and volunteer for the Youth Group at my church.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself academically and athletically. I'm open to all possibilities and want to find the best college match possible at the highest level of competition. I aspire to be a positive role model for all of my classmates and to make my parents proud.
