Personal Statement

I have been a soccer goalkeeper since age 5. I play club soccer with the Cheshire Soccer Academy 2009 National Leage team in Pottersville, NJ. I earned a position on the Varsity Soccer Team at Gill St. Bernard's School as a freshman last year and as a sophmore this year and earned a Varsity Letter. Off the field, I'm a hardworking student with a 3.78 GPA. I contribute to my school community as a school sports photographer and videographer, attending sporting events & providing open access to my photos/videos to support my peers as they pursue collegiate level sports. The One Day ID Camp is designed for players with college soccer ambitions looking to experience the level of a NCAA Division I program including dynamic training sessions, an introduction to strength and conditioning, and competitive games. Players will be advised about the NCAA recruiting process. The training camp will be held at the University of Vermont, led by UVM Head Coach Rob Dow and Associate Head Coach Brad Cole and Assistant Coach Rory Twomey. In addition to the UVM staff there will be other regional college coaches evaluating your abilities and current Catamount players assisting in all events.

Soccer Academics is hosting Elite Goalkeeper Clinics geared specifically to Goalkeeper specific training & evaluation. This single day Clinic will be held on the campus of Dartmouth College and is hosted by Coach & MLS Veteran Goalkeeper Bo Oshoni. Open to goalkeepers of all levels from ages 12-19, the Elite Goalkeeper Clinic will yiprovide instruction on technical & tactical aspects specific to the goalkeeper position. The Clinic also allows players to showcase their abilities in front of coaches from all NCAA Divisions, providing opportunities to be evaluated & recruited by programs across all levels. During the event, we will host an information session to give players & parents insights into goalkeeping in college & the recruiting process.
