Joshua Kim '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joshua Kim and I am a 5'6" 129 lb. outside back. I am currently a junior at Glen Rock High School who is looking to play soccer at the college level. I played and started for the Glen Rock High School varsity soccer team since 2016. Now, I am playing club soccer with TSF Academy 2000B.

This past summer, my club team went to Denver, CO to participate in the National Cup. It was a great experience and I look forward to competing at the highest level in the country.  This upcoming Spring, my club team will be participating in the Jefferson Cup, Dallas Cup, Potomac Memorial Tournament, and will hopefully qualify for many more high level tournaments. 

Glen Rock High School is among the short list of the top academic public high schools in New Jersey. Throughout my freshman year, I maintained a 3.6 GPA. I pride myself on being a hard worker both on and off the soccer field. 

I train for soccer year round. I have club team practices almost everyday in the spring and high school varsity practices everyday in the fall. I also attend many ID soccer camps at certain college campuses. 

I would like to attend a school with a great atmosphere where there is a balance between academics and playing soccer. I am open to most schools but I would prefer to attend a school where academics is just as important as soccer.
