Samuel Giraldo-rengifo '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Samuel giraldo and I am a 2019 graduate! I have one goal and that is to make my parents proud of what I am capable of achieving.  Both my parents were deported when I was 13. I spent 3 years in Colombia (South America) where my soccer IQ grew and at the age of 17 I decided to come back to the United States to persue my dream.  To be the first person in my family to go to college and make it at a professional soccer level. I work hard everyday off season and I am very responsible.

Since the age of 17 I have paid the bills and work to sustain myself.  My goal is that once I make it to college I could strictly focus on soccer and making my dream a reality. I am a very out going person, great personality and leader.  The best part is that I get my work done on and off the field. My grades are great and I am very involved in all my classes. I enjoy going to class because I know that everyday in the classroom is an opportunity to gain knowledge and help myself to grow.

       I currently go to school and after school I work untill closing.  After work I go to the gym and then do homework afterwards. I know exactly what I want and I am working towards it everyday. I want to be prepared for my opportunity because life only gives you so many. I am a full time high school student and I also work a full time job (40 hours weekly). I know my hard work and determination will get me to where I want to be and that is playing at the next level.  I would love to speak with you. Thank you
