I cannot imagine myself going to college without playing the sport that I love. I have been playing club soccer since I was four-years-old. At the age of eleven, I began playing with the South Jersey Elite Barons/New Jersey Rush 02 academy team. Since then, my team and I went on to win two state championships. Therefore, I had the opportunity to compete at the Eastern Regional Championships, where I was one of the top goal scorers for the tournament two years in a row. As a player, I am very technical on the ball, make quick decisions, and use my body strength to keep possession. As a person, I am quiet, reserved, and very mature for my age.
I believe I am capable of reaching my goals because of my hard work ethic and time management skills. My high school experience with several AP and honors classes will help me prepare for the rigorous schedule in college. I am hoping to pursue a degree in Mathematics/Statistics.
In my free time, I mentor young soccer players, help raise money for childhood cancer (Soar for a Cure), and prepare and distribute meals for local food banks. I enjoy running, bowling, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
