My name is Christopher Kondratowicz. I am currently in my Junior year at St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City, New Jersey. For the last four years, I have been a member of the Ironbound Premier Strikers, playing an important role as a striker in helping the team qualify for four national tournaments and even capture a Super Y National Championship in December of 2012. I am a versatile player who now seems to be showing a knack for central defense. At the moment, I am trying out my defensive prowess with SC Vistula Eagles who have given me the opportunity to test my skills in Poland. I also played for the SC Vistula senior team, allowing me to test my skill in the open league. This taught me how to play with bigger guys. At the high school level, I not only served as captain of the freshman soccer team, but I also led the team as a central defender to an undefeated season. I was the youngest starter on the JV team this year winning a decisive victory over St. Benedict’s Prep, and I was a vital member in the back line of the varsity team this year.
As a student, I am ranked at the top of my class with a 4.28 GPA despite taking challenging advanced placement and honors courses. While I excel at math and plan to pursue an engineering degree, I qualified for the History Quiz Bowl National Championships which wtook place in Washington, D.C. on April, 26, 2014. Moreover, I am an Ignatian Scholar, and an active member of both the Engineering Club, Speech and Debate Team, and the German Club.
Diligence, hard work and unwavering commitment are my motto. These characteristics are the ingredients to my success as a student and an athlete. I hope these are characteristics that you are looking for to build your team and carry it toward success.
