Xavier Scotland '21 Recruiting Profile

I can't imagine not playing soccer, I can't remember a time when I wasn't playing the sport. I can barely go a day without touching the soccer ball. This is why I have always aspired to play soccer in college. If I don't make a college team, I doubt that my life as a soccer player would end there. However, playing a competitive soccer game against players that put the same amount of effort makes the game better. Just thinking about great players and teams makes me want to rise to the occasion, which is why I want to play in college. I want to go against the best until I am old and grey. I know there are other recruits that are fighting for the same spot I am. So I must continue to grow and push myself as a player and teammate. This include foot work, passing, shooting, play making, and even noticing my teammate’s tendencies on the field. At the end of the day I am here for the long run. I'd love to find a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and challenge me academically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team, I am energetic with integrity and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
