Denzel Boateng '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Denzel Boateng and I started playing soccer at the age of 10 and my improvement has been great. I started going to camps before my father got me a travel team (Middletown Red Bulls Red) and I started catching up to my teammates in terms of technical ability and decided to challenge myself and play with older and more technically gifted kids so I started training with Middletown Strikers Red who are an age group ahead and I would say I grew a lot as a player over there. Playing with better players than myself led me to match up to their intensity and their level. My goal is to play soccer at an NCAA level whether it is DI, DII, or DIII and I want to earn a Bachelor's degree when I complete college. What makes me different is my work ethic on the field and what makes me a good candidate for your roster is that I'm willing to learn from older players on a roster and play up to their level which will lead me to improve.
