Alex Baginski '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals as a student-athlete  are focused on maximizing my own potential both in the classroom and on the field.  My commitment to self-improvement and self-awareness continue to be my greatest strengths as a student and as a teammate.  Simply put, I don’t need to be the center of attention to earn the respect of those around me.  My unselfish play and leadership by example have earned that respect for me on teams of all levels.  As a player, I have had the tremendous opportunity to grow under the mentorship of quite a few outstanding coaches and I have competed for these coaches at the highest level of club soccer.  In fact, I have led two different club teams to a top twenty national ranking (Sportika in 2019 and Dutchmen FC in 2020).  Ultimately, I wish to pursue a career in marine engineering or marine science, while leading my collegiate team to the same level of success.
