Personal Statement

I graduated Ramsey High School in 2019. For the last 2 years, I have been playing for i2i International Soccer Academy in affiliation with Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK. We play in the West Riding Developmental u23 league, coming up against high-level footballers with professional aspirations. For example, we recently played Harrogate's (League 2) u20 team. We also play in showcase games against teams such as The New Saints (Welsh Premier League title holders) u20s, Sunderland u20s, and South Shields (Northern Premier League) u23s. This high level competition has greatly sharpened my skills and talents. We are coached by Darren Williams, a man who amassed 108 Premier League appearances throughout his career. I am looking to transfer back to the United States to play for a strong collegiate program and further my education. I am a hard working, tough, talented footballer. I bring energy, technique, strength, passing and finishing as my strongest assets. I also have a very good understanding and knowledge of the game that is extremely beneficial to any team or program. I am very coachable and I take direction and instruction very well. Any collegiate program has many uses for a player such as myself, and I look forward to proving my worth and making an impact for a coach or program that is suitable.

Brian played freshman basketball and was called up to the varsity for the State tournament run, which saw Ramsey capture its first sectional title in 66 years. Brian was on the floor when the final whistle blew in its victory over Manchester High School.
