Jaden Tinio '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jaden Tinio. I am currently a Freshman attending Randolph High School.  Soccer at my school is one of the most competitive sports to play. More than 80 students tried out to take a spot in their deserved team.  As a freshman, at least 35 athletes of the class of 2021 attempted to secure a place on the roster. However, I was moved up to the junior varsity team before our first pre-season game. This moment in my life got my mind set on having the chance of playing soccer at the collegiate level.  I have continued my fall and spring club season for the Randolph Soccer Club. We are currently playing in EDP.  As told by many, I am a hard working character. This can be proven through soccer, and as well as my grades. My education is of most importance. As a diligent student, I am currently maintaining a 4.2 GPA on the 5.0 scale, and a 3.7 GPA on the 4.0 scale.  This can be a challenge to maintain sometimes, for I am taking 4 honors classes and practicing more than 6 hours a week, striving to be the best in all aspects of life.  I am of great use to the teams that I play on because of my ability to play multiple positions. I am mainly a center midfielder, however, the outside midfield role is very suitable for playing as well. If necessary, outside defense is a position that I can take without an issue. Coaches that train me at the moment are very fond of the fact that I grasp concepts learned from practice and apply them during the game. I am the athlete that can rise to the occasion and provide the skills that I've mastered to face challenges that seem nearly impossible to accomplish. I hope that coaches consider me as a prospect and hopefully, a future addition to their team because I aspire to get my skills as a soccer player to its highest potential and learn from great coaches to become the best player I can be.
