David Feliu '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Feliu and I am currently 17 years old.

Soccer has been my favorite sport since I was a little kid. I am currently playing with PDA and my High School Varsity Team. I am a very hardworking forward and I am recognized for being very athletic, tough and for my quick movement off the ball. 

My best strength is being ambidextrous which allows me to be very versatile on the field and play well on the left and right or center of the forward field.

My parents both come from Spain, my dad was born and raised in Madrid and my mom in Barcelona. They are both huge fans of Real Madrid and Barcelona, creating a passionate soccer lifestyle in our family. My Uncle Antonio Ruiz was a midfielder for Real Madrid from 1956 to 1962, and is currently a Coach for Real Madrid’s development Teams. Growing up in this family and being half Spaniard, soccer has been a major part of my life.

Having over 10 years of experience playing competitive soccer, I know the effort and dedication it takes to be a part of a team and to win games. 

I have always been in a soccer environment and I am very passionate about the sport. I am a great team player, have great sportsmanship and I am well respected by my teammates. I am very excited to continue playing at an advanced level through College and I believe I would be a great asset to your Team.   

I will make a decision where to attend school based on being able to play intercollegiate soccer through all my future academic years in College, since besides growing academically and intellectually, soccer is really my passion and it is important for me to have it as part of my everyday life.
