Michael DaSilva '27 Recruiting Profile

I’m a versatile attacking player who excels as a forward or cam, but I can play any offensive role. I’m able to use both feet equally, which gives me a lot of creativity and makes me a constant threat in the final third. I’m able to read the game, anticipate what’s going to happen, and make quick decisions that benefit my team. As a sophomore, I started for my high school’s Varsity team while also playing for NJ ODP and North Jersey FC, where I am the captain. I’ve been the leading goal scorer on my club team, showing both my technical skills and my ability to think ahead. I’m a dedicated team player who respects my coaches, teammates, referees, and the game itself. I give 110% in every training session and match, and I’m always trying to improve myself both physically and mentally. The challenge of mastering every part of the game is what drives me to keep pushing myself to succeed.

Academically I have excelled and managed more difficult course loads while maintaining high grades. I plan to pursue a career in the field of exercise science. In college, I would like to continue challenging myself both academically and athletically in soccer.
