Personal Statement
Soccer has played an enormous role in shaping me into the student, athlete, and friend that I am today. As a proud member of both the STA 04/05 ECNL and ECRL teams, I have competed at the regional and national levels, in addition to our Northeast conference. At Westfield High School, where I am also a captain, we have had immense success, including winning our conference, county, and state section, and reaching the state semi-finals during my junior year.
My love for soccer started at a young age, and I have always enjoyed the creativity and personality that can be expressed through one's movement on the field. As a competitive individual, I thrive in challenging environments and enjoy going head-to-head with opponents. This same attitude is reflected in the classroom, where I have continuously challenged myself by enrolling in rigorous courses while maintaining a 3.7 GPA.
My academic interests are focused on civil engineering and business, with potential majors and minors related to human resources. I am eager to explore the intersection of these disciplines and how they can be used to create positive change in the world.
