My name is Alex Jackson and I graduate in May of 2025 from the Albuquerque Academy. As a life-long soccer player, I have enjoyed playing the sport since I was 3-years old. I start at forward/midfield for Albuquerque Academy’s varsity team. I was selected for 2nd team all district in 2023. I also play club soccer for the New Mexico Soccer Academy (EA 07). I’ve played with my club for 7 years and start at forward (left wing/midfield/striker). The contact information for both of my head coaches is below.
I am 5’10, 150 lbs., and am left-footed. While I primarily play left wing/attacking midfield, I also play striker and left wingback as needed depending on the game script. I’m a versatile player who excels at facilitating play for others, but I am also a team leader in shots/goals for both my high school and club team. I pride myself on playing physical defense and have the fitness to press throughout a match.
I’m interested in pursuing a degree in engineering. The Albuquerque Academy is an academically rigorous private school, where I have a 3.64 weighted GPA. I excel at math, science, and computer science. My school is ranked #1 best high school for STEM in New Mexico and #2 best private high school in New Mexico. My goal is to find an excellent college for my studies and to continue to pursue my passion for soccer as a member of a college team.
Please feel free to contact my high school coaches.
