Michael Berlint JR. '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since the age of 4, having grown up in a competitive soccer environment, and played on top club teams, Olympic development traveling teams, and for one of the largest 6A schools in NM, I am a 3 year letter award winner, and I have been part of back to back championships in 6A metro soccer, District champions, and many other championships over my career.  My passion is to continue the legacy of playing college soccer like my father who played Division 1 soccer for the University of New Mexico. I have been in almost every position on the field over my playing career, and today I really enjoy playing on the back line. You will find me on the outside, and many times get moved to attacking midfield in clutch games.  I hope to have an opportunity to continue my playing and would like the opportunity to showcase my talents.

    I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I value the educational aspect of the student-athlete experience as much of the athletic experiences I hope to be a part of. I believe to not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a soccer player for over 10 years, I know I have what it takes to be a part of your program.
