Erin Cooper '21 Recruiting Profile

My long-term goal is to have a career that let's me apply my creative talents and artistic skills to make the world a better place whether that is through technological or medicinal means.  My mid-term goal is to attend a great college that will help make that goal a reality. I'm still choosing my major, although I think I am leaning towards  a major in a stem field. However, I already know that I plan to minor in art. I also plan on going to medical school after regular college. I enjoy physical activities such as hiking or swimming and I recently took up backcountry backpacking during this summer and so far we have racked up well over 73 miles and in two weeks we shall be heading out for another 75 miles which will take us about a week and a half. In my spare time I play games such as Dungeons and Dragons. I have straight A's in all of my high school classes so far.  As a volleyball player my goal will and always has been to be a person who overflows with positive energy. Every time I step onto the court, I bring a great attitude and high fives for everyone. Even if I lose I take it with a smile. After all, a champion is not only the one that can hit, but that can take a hit and stand back up again.  If chosen for a team I will always be the one to bring energy, serious volleyball skills, hard work, teamwork and leadership to the court.
