Personal Statement
As I begin my search for university , I aspire to find a school that harbors both a strong academic curriculum as well as an athletic department that enables me to further develop my soccer career. In regards to my current acadmeics, after my first quarter, I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA and I am encourged to prolong this standard for the rest of my junior and senior year. School has always been my first priority in life; I recognize that my soccer capabilities, on their own, are not sufficient for me to get into a school that I have a strong interest in. As a person, I view myself as both an active leader and a strong foundation in the communities I am a part of. That being said, I am also great listener and someone who is eager to learn from more experienced individuals - in any field for that matter. I am currently looking for an institution that will allow me to maintain a balance between my academic and athletic career. I have already visited a few schools in the North East (Tufts, Amherst, Williams, Weslyan, Yale, Brown, BU) but I am eager to expand my search for the place that fits me best.
