Soccer has been an important aspect of my daily life ever since I started playing the sport. I never left my comfort zone or really challenged myself to improve as a player until 2 years ago when I started playing on my High School team, the team which took home the state title with a perfect 21-0 record in the 2017-2018 season. Along with challenging myself with school soccer, I also tried out for the ODP state team and made it. Making the ODP team proved to myself that I could do great things with soccer. Along with playing on the Varsity high school team and ODP team, I still maintained my commitment to my club soccer team after almost ten years. My club team and club coach have taught me the most important lessons of soccer, loyalty, determination, and respect for others and the game. Being a captain on that team and a leader on both varsity soccer and varsity track and field has given me the experience to compete and benefit any team I play on.
