Hi my name is Samantha Lanzetta, I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 and I love playing the game. I set many goals for myself and work towards them on a regulars basis. I’m a competitive player and I hope to have the privilege of playing for another 4 more years at the college level. Over quarantine, I took the opportunity to take the time I was given to focus on my skill level as well as staying in shape. I was out there with a ball almost every day working on things I struggled with and have improved greatly since then. If I wasn’t with a ball I was running as well as working out every night to build muscle, all in preparation for a season or a game that may come up. I don’t give up easily and I’ve worked hard for everything I have achieved so far. I hope all the work I’ve put in pays off and I get the opportunity to play soccer at the college level as well as study Physical Education. Physical Education is my chosen major because I want to teach and share the world of sports to younger kids and hopefully inspire them to be as passionate about a sport as I am with soccer. The amount of effort and focus I put into soccer, matches with the amount of effort and focus I put into my school work. Just recently I have achieved one of my highest GPA’s so far in my high school career which was a 98.8 as well as get accepted into a couple of my schools Honor Society’s. My motivation is high and I can’t wait to keep going.
