Since a young age I have had a love for goalkeeping. The feeling I get standing in net, knowing I am my teams last hope. That pressure fueled my passion for the game. I am determined to play beyond high school and vowed to push myself to reach those aspirations. I will achieve my goals no matter how much work, hustle, and time it takes.
These principles apply to every aspect of my life, not just soccer. I work relentlessly to maintain a high grade point average because I acknowledge that as a Student-Athlete, academics come first. I make sure I am involved in my community and hold a good reputation that reflects me, my family, team, coaches, and my school. I carry myself with confidence and humility, and aim to be a well rounded and respectful player, friend, son, and student.
I strive to be a leader on and off the field and to be a role model to those around me. As a freshman, I was named the starting goalkeeper for my High School Varsity team and made sure I was communicative and respected even as the youngest member of the team. I continued to lead my team this past Varsity season despite still being an underclassman.
Similarly on my club team, I was brought onto the U18 squad as a 15 year old to be the starting goalkeeper. I immediately made an impact holding clean sheets in my first 3 games.
