The thing that makes me a good candidate is I was never insanely good without practicing or putting in hard work. I was never the “soccer guy” who everybody knew was good. I didn’t even play my sophomore year of high school and thought I was done. But what I will do is work hard, after not playing that year I started training and running 6 days a week. Then i started going to the gym and split the time between strength training and running. When I came back to soccer I became a league all-star with 7 goals and 9 assists. The day after our season ended I got back into the gym, I worked up to a 5:15 mile time, I don’t have the most insane skills or finesse but what I will always do is work hard . I also pride myself on my academic work. I have maintained a 93-96 average throughout high school and do not plan on slacking during college.
