John Kerber '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Kerber and I am the goalkeeper for the Varsity Hamilton Boys Soccer team. I am six feet tall, weigh about 175 pounds, and have a strong build. I was the reserve keeper on the varsity team my sophomore year in high school and we reached the class D New York State Finals. Going into my junior year, I felt alot of pressure to continue the past success and uphold the high standards that my team has. Our only regular season losses were to class B teams, two of those three losses were to #3 state ranked Clinton, and went on to win the class D sectional championship. I would like to attend college somewhere in the northeastern United States because many of the schools that I am interested are located there. I am looking for a liberal arts college or university with a high acedemic standard and would like to play Division 3 soccer. Although not final, my desired major is American History because I would like to one day become a history professor.  Realistically, I would like to play men's soccer for a Division 3 liberal arts college or university. My goal is to eventually be a starter on a Varsity team at one of those colleges, whether it be my freshman or senior year, and I would like to bring intensity and unity to my team.
