I have always had a love for the sport of soccer. Going to the park as a kid with my older brother and my father and playing for hours is a memory I will always cherish. My brother and I would always compete against each other, doing 1v1's with my dad as the goalkeeper. I remember whether it was my brother or me who would win, we would always want to keep playing so that we can leave the park knowing that one was better than the other. This is what has set me apart from others. No matter where and when I play, whether it's in the park with my friends, at a practice or a game, I always fight to win. Similarly, I always try to improve aspects of my game wherever I am. At practices and on my own time, I work as hard as I can to become an elite player. Although soccer is a vast part of my life, I also highly value academics and education. As I have learned over the past couple of years about the college process and expectations, I am aware of the standards of what it takes to be a top student-athlete and I am eager to start this chapter of my life.
