Carson Macur '24 Recruiting Profile

In college I hope to prepare myself for a career in sports media.

I have had many adversities growing up but soccer was always the place I could go to get peace with everything. Thanks to strong supportive coaches I have overcome what life has thrown at me to excel not only on the pitch but in the classroom aswell.

I believe I am an educated student athlete; I excel in the classroom currently with a 93% average while taking college courses. I take the same approach to the sports I play.  I learn about the complexities of the sport I play: Soccer, I see plays happen before others and make positive plays with my vision and knowledge of the game. 

My biggest strength however isn't on the field but who I am off of it.  I am a natural leader who cares about his teammates more than myself.   That empathy I show makes me a great teammate and someone people gravitate to.

I look forward to the challenges that the recruitment process may bring me, the challenges that the remainder of high school does bring to me, and lastly the college experience itself.
