Valmend Marki '16 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Albania and come from a family that loves the game of soccer. In Albania I played on several cub teams. When I came here to the US  I tried out for my high school team and have been a starter since my freshman year. Coaches tell me I can use both feet equally well. I have scored many goals since my freshman year. Last season 2015-2016 I scored 31 goals with the help of my teammates, and I got the MVP, all league, and all section awards. I am a team player and always look for ways to give my team a chance to win. I am an honor student and a good athlete. I am In the 90 club which is a club with students that have grades of 90 and higher, I am in the National Honor Society and I am the captain of the soccer team.

My short term goal is to graduate from high school and get accepted on a good college that has a good soccer team. My long term goal is to be a professional soccer player after college.
