Emilia Florencio '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Emilia Florencio, I have been playing soccer before I entered elementary school. I have been experimenting with different positions, such as goalie, defender, midfielder and forward. Throughout these past years I think I found my proper positions therefore it being forward and midfielder. I have decided on these two because I like to take on the opposing team one on one as the ball reaches my feet. Though maybe I could mess up from time to time, it doesn't stop me from trying my best in games and in practice so I won't let down my team. To add on, I have been named co-captain in my first year of playing high school soccer, this past fall, because they loved my attitude on and off the field. My coach and teammates entrusted me with all the corner kicks, free kicks and even all penalties. In addition, I have the most goals and assists throughout the fall season scoring the first ever goal of the season by a free kick and last ever goal of the season by a penalty. I hope to be an addition to your college team so I can continue to play this beautiful sport after high school as I enjoy myself improving and playing the sport
