Joseph Christy '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph Christy and I am a 2025 graduate. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 but started playing a lot more competitively at 9 years old and beyond. I am a fast learner and very coachable. I also have fast closing speed and accurate passing with good fundamental and technical ability as well. I am never afraid to go into a tackle against someone who is bigger than me. I am very dedicated to this sport and currently, I am training 3-5 times a week working on becoming a faster, stronger, and overall better player and person. I go to the gym twice a week where I do heavy lifting to strengthen my muscles and also do speed and agility work with a coach where I work on good running mechanics and overall become a faster player. I then train for soccer with my club and high school team on the other days. My teammates and I also organize training sessions where we will do competitive soccer against one another, especially during the offseason when there is not as much coach organized training. When I have free time from soccer, I volunteer at my church and hang out with my friends.
