Mitchell Tope '24 Recruiting Profile

My current club coach is playing me as an Outside Back. Being versatile allows me to play wherever I am most needed and most effective with the team. During the 2022 High School season, I was the starting Center Back. During my club play through the winter and spring 2021-2022, I played Forward. While I do like scoring, ruining people’s day on defense is fun too. My speed and versatility allow me to play multiple positions. In past club seasons I have played all positions. My right foot is my dominant foot, however, I also use my left a lot which allows me to easily play both the right and left side of the field. I am very excited for my spring 2023 NPL season. I will be working with a new coach and new players. We will be playing in the U19 bracket. 

I aspire to take my soccer career to the highest extent possible playing for a college and perhaps beyond. I am a good candidate for a competitive team because of my versatility. My athletic ability, soccer IQ, and teamwork make me a playmaker on the field. As far as leadership, I am very easy going and I do not let things bring me down. I often work to inspire others by helping to bring them up when they get down. I am very coachable which has helped my skills improve each season.
