Since I was a child, I have always loved and cherished the game of soccer. My grandfather loved the game and my mother played in high school, and they both influenced me into playing. However, the difficulty, intensity, and competitiveness the game required was enticing to me, which has sparked my wish to play the game at the next level, along with continuing my academic career.
I have learned so many things from the game. From my freshman year on varsity in high school, I learned that the game requires a lot of team work, trust, toughness, and accountability in order to be successful. I also realized that it takes sacrifices to be serious with a sport. That said, I aspire to further my athletic and academic desires at the collegiate level, using what I’ve learned throughout my life.
