My goal for college is to earn an education that will allow me to find a job in my preferred field and to play soccer at the highest level I can. I am determined to do well in school and to get the good grades that I know I am capable of getting. I am also determined on the soccer field. I strive to be the best that I possibly can so I am continually looking to learn and improve. I believe that a team is able to play to their full potential when they work together and not as individuals. I have the leadership skills to help create chemistry between players in order to reach a common goal.
During my spring 2016 club season I tore my ACL. This injury forced me to sit for the remainder of my club season and for my entire Junior year high school season. When I realized that I was going to miss my Junior year of soccer I became very worried about how this would affect my chances of playing college soccer, but I was determined to make a full recovery. I put all of my focus into recovering by following doctors orders and pushing myself in therapy, including a program designed to help athletes return to playing at a competitive level. I am currently playing with my club team again, continuing the program that I mentioned above, and feeling stronger than ever. I am looking forward to the remainder of my club season and moving closer to my goal of playing collegiate soccer.
