Personal Statement
When I got pulled up to play Varsity Tournament my freshman year it changed me as a player and a person. We had a real shot at winning state and I was excited to go along for the ride. That year I met some amazing people and they taught me so much about teamwork. Especially a senior Maddie Fredrick, she had just transferred to Tipp and was the most supportive teammate I've ever seen. She taught me to work hard everyday especially when no one was watching. I focused in on being the best post player I could be so that I could go on to playing at the college level.
We ended up losing in the regional finals but that season was so impactful for the student athlete I am today. It taught me hard work, perseverance, and also staying positive through hard times. I am looking for a program that would be a good fit athletically as well as academically, I am passionate about a career in education. I believe that I have the talent to play in the collegiate level but more importantly I believe I have the character, work ethic, and leadership to make an impact on your program.
