Sam Westfall '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Sam Westfall. I'm a 2024 goalkeeper wanting to extend my athletic career playing at the next level.  I'm a hard working player always eager to ask questions and learn from my mistakes. I know about my position very well and I'm not afraid to be vocal in the back my distribution really stands our as well. My GPA is high as well, I'm a very good student with a 4.0 GPA. I enjoy playing goalkeeper because  all the excitement either with my team or after a big save. I also the love strategy of it thinking about where should I move my team or pinging the ball to one of my outsides so they can build up. I'm a team player as well, I talk to refs respectfully while also trying to keep my team's spirit up. As a goalkeeper I believe that communication is one of my most important jobs. So I try to be uplifting and positive while also keeping my team on their toes. I'm eager to play at much higher and competitive level to really grow as a player.
