Evan Lerch '23 Recruiting Profile

Sports have been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember.  At an early age, I enjoyed going for a run with my mom and sisters, going fishing/hunting with my dad,  and taking a hike or a bike ride with the family.  I have played on baseball teams, wrestled, competed in track and field events, and played soccer with multiple clubs.

Playing soccer competitively has become my passion.  While playing on an ODP soccer team, I had the opportunity to travel to Scotland and play soccer against some of their most competitive teams.  This was a pivotal experience for me. 

My dream is to play soccer at the collegiate level. I want to be able to send the message to youth today that no dream is out of reach if you are willing to put forth the effort.  I may not be the tallest player on the soccer field, but I am sure to give my opponent a run for his money.

I earned the Principal's Citizenship Award in school. I am a member of the National Honor Society and also a member of the National Technical Honor Society.  I am a coachable player who is more than willing to take advice to better my skill.
