Christopher Williams '18 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I began playing soccer at the age of four, it has always been a goal of mine to play at the collegiate level while studying and earning a degree in Journalism or Communications. I have played travel since the age of six and I have played in the Super Y, MAPS, and Delco leagues with my clubs, and I am currently playing in the National League. I wish to play collegiately for a highly competitive team to help with the team's success and to help win titles. By playing, I want to challenge myself to better myself as a player and as a person on and off the field, and ultimately prepare myself to play professionally.

I am a good candidate for any collegiate team because I am hard-working, dedicated, determined, and responsible. I have outstanding vision and field awareness in the midfield, and although I love scoring, I have a greater love for assisting and creating chances. I show great sportsmanship and leadership on and off the field. I always give my all every training session and match. On top of my playing attributes, I have always maintained a high GPA in my classes, making me eligible to play year round without the fear of my grades dropping.

Compared to others in the recruitment process, I am a very unique and diverse individual. Character wise, I am hard-working, dedicated, determined, and responsible both on the field and in the classroom. I am very passionate for what I am doing, and I am a kind person to all. I differ from many athletically. I come from a soccer-playing family, I have played in many different elite leagues, tournaments, and I have been a part of some of the best clubs in PA. Through all of this, I have had the opportunity of training in England with Manchester United twice in their soccer schools to improve my game. Academically, I love to challenge myself. I am part of the top 5% of my class, I am in the gifted program, I partake in an array of clubs, and I have received various awards for my academic achievement.
