Hello, my name is Katelynn Bos. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I am currently a Junior at the Jim Thorpe Area High School. Freshman year, I was the starting varsity goalkeeper for the girls soccer team. I received the second team goalkeeping award. Sophomore year, I remained the starting varsity goalkeeper and helped to lead my team to the semi-finals in the District XI playoffs for the first time in school history. Along with making it to the District XI semi-finals, my team and I broke school records including the most shutouts in one season (10). I also had a great cross country season. I was the top varsity runner for the girls. At the leagues meet, on October 18, I received ninth place and in the District XI meet, on October 23, I received fifteenth place. My coaches allowed me to do both sports at the same due to my high academic abilities and overall work ethic. While doing both sports, I accomplished making Principal's List. I am a hard working individual and strive to do my best in all activities.
