Benjamin Trainor '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ben Trainor and I am extremely interested in playing soccer on a Varsity team at College.  I am in the beginning of my Junior year at Unionville High School in Kennett Square, PA. I just took the SAT in September and will be taking it again in December.  My current GPA is high and my courses include AP classes and Honors Courses .  I will be taking AP tests for English and Spanish in the Spring. 

I am extremely passionate about soccer- it is my primary sport and it has played a pivotal role in my life. I am involved in all aspects of soccer including coaching youth kids.  Volunteering is a large part of my extracurricular time.   I would like to extend my soccer career as long as possible and have goals to play at a D3 or Patriot League college with high academics and also pursue a career in business or economics.  I am a strategic player and read the field well. I know how to be in the right place at the right time which has led to scoring 28 goals with a dozen assists in my high school career to date.  This recent year was abridged due to COVID.  In addition to High School Soccer I play for SCCSA on their highest level travel team.
