Personal Statement
I do not remember a time when I was not playing soccer, it has always been a part of me. Through the years, my love for the game has progressively grown. I played other sports growing up and had success in making all-star teams, yet none of these brought me the same excitement as soccer. I have put countless hours into improving my skills and enjoyed every moment. I started at a small club called Rheems Rampage and played there until I was in 6th grade. During the summer before entering my 7th-grade year, my family moved school districts and it was soccer that made the transition seamless. I was introduced to a new group of friends and got better with them as the years passed. One of my friends introduced me to PA Classics which is my current club that I have played with the past 4 years. This competitive club has raised my level of play to stand out at my high school as I earned 1st Team League Honors. Combing the training of Classics and Manheim Central has made me the player that I am today.
I would be a good addition to your team as I bring leadership, athletic ability, and intelligence. I enjoy taking the initiative to lead my team on the field by being a vocal player. I can read the game well, and hope to apply this at the college level. Along with soccer, my academics are equally as important as I aspire to be a pathologist. Being able to pursue both of my interests would be a dream come true.
