Aidan Haas '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name is Aidan Haas although some friends and family call me AJ.  I am in the Class of 2027 at Radnor High School in Radnor, PA.  I am a student-athlete with aspirations to play at the collegiate level, driven by ambition and passion for the beautiful game.  As a competitive multi-sport athlete with a team-first mentality, I pride myself on being a dependable teammate and will always do my job on the pitch. As an attacking midfielder, I play both ends of the field and move the ball quickly in transition. I can swiftly drop back on defense and return to the attacking side of the field. I have worked hard on my finishing skills, but will distribute the ball to open players without hesitation as assists are just as important as goals.

While talent is crucial to success in collegiate soccer, I have never craved the spotlight.  My parents and coaches have described me as having a quiet confidence... a trait that comes from within and drives me on and off the field.  I feel that I am very coachable and listen to the advice my coaches, teachers and parents provide.  This is an innate quality that I feel differentiates me from others.  

As a rising junior in high school, I take mostly AP (3) and honors (8) classes with the intention of pursuing similar courses throughout the remainder of high school.  I am learning to balance demanding athletic and academic commitments while ensuring that the importance of both areas remain keenly in focus.  I am looking for a collegiate experience where I will be appropriately challenged in the classroom and on the field.  I look forward to exploring college soccer programs that best match my aspirations as a player, teammate and student.
