Roman Rivera '25 Recruiting Profile

Captain and leader of PA 2024 State Soccer Championship team - Radnor Highschool.  Named All Central 1st team, awarded Larry Mitchel soccer award for character and integrity, awarded basketball MVP, selected as captain for Freshman basketball, Captain of Varsity Soccer and Captain of Varsity Basketball team for Radnor Highschool. I have been selected as captain whether by coaches or teammates, because I am dedicated, passionate and supportive of my team.  2 year district soccer champions in a high competitive soccer in suburban Philadelphia. 13 years of soccer clubs, but only teams that would allow me to play highschool. I met my highschool coach while in elementary school and I made a commitment which led to a state championship. #staypublic works. I am a striker turned defender, with high soccer IQ that translates to being able to play multiple positions. I run set pieces and throw ins. 

I have focused my highschool studies on math and computer science. My highschool is extremely rigorous and listed in top 3 public schools in PA. After interning at a financial company, I realized that I would like to focus on Accounting. There is a current accounting shortage in America which is hurting US companies. I took a bunch of different math classes my senior year and I have a perfect score in Honors Accounting. I believe that I can excel both on the field and in the classroom combining Accounting and Soccer. I am the type of teammate that locks-in on and off the field.
