Evan O'Keefe '24 Recruiting Profile

I play on the 2006 Beadling Showcase team. I am a driven athlete and student. I have always and will always continue to maximize my potential.  I am extremely interested in pursuing soccer at a collegiate level.  I work hard on and off the field to ensure that I have no regrets. I always try to support my team and create a tight bond with everyone on the team. 

I have played with Beadling Soccer Club since the beginning of my travel career. I am a starter on my team and usually play the full match from the first whistle to the last. My team won the PA West State Cup and attended Eastern Regionals. In the Spring of 2019, we won the second bracket of the Great Lakes League. We have moved up to the top bracket of the Great Lakes League and continued to play at a top level.  Our team has competed in the top brackets of the EDP and Jefferson Cup tournaments. We have finished as champions and finalists for these tournaments.  My team has also played 2021-2022 season in the USYS National League P.R.O. and will be playing the 2022-2023 season in the USYS Elite 64.

I work as hard academically as I do on the field. I have a 4.24 GPA.  I am a honors student and am on the honors roll.  I have been recognized as a Student to Watch. I have been doing honors classes since third grade. My goal is to attend a college for Pre-med and attend a School of Dental Medicine or School of Medicine.

Not only do I work hard in soccer and academics, but I am involved in other extra-curricular activities.  I am a dedicated violinist, since the age of five. I play in the North Allegheny String Orchestra. I am member of Key Club and Co-President of the Jared Box Project for our high school (to provide children in hospitals with giftboxes).

I will continue to work extreme hard to develop additional skills and to learn as much about the game as I can, to be ready to play soccer at a collegiate level.
