My name is Matthew Mihm and I am a sophomore at North Allegheny in Wexford Pa. My goal is to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible at a university with a great athletic and academic reputation. What differentiates me from other players is my athleticism, size, coachability, and my left foot. I have played every position in my youth but now I primarily play left-back. Academically, I have excelled in the classroom taking a schedule of primarily Honor Courses. I currently have a 3.96 weighted GPA and will be taking AP Courses as a Junior next year.
My club team is Arsenal FC of PA Academy 02-03. We are one of the top teams in Pittsburgh and attend high level club tournaments throughout the country. Some of the tournaments that we attended, and were going to attend include; Bethesda Premier, Potomac, Vegas Showcase "cancelled", Mainline Friendlies, Jefferson Cup "rescheduled", PA State Cup, and GLC League, and numerous friendlies. Our team consists of Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores, and currently, I am one of two Sophomores on the Academy team.
I am a selfless team player, and I will do anything for my team to win. One of the qualities that I possess is that I love to practice and work on improving my individual skills. For the past three years practicing and playing with teammates that are older, has helped my development both physically and mentally as a player. Having two older siblings that are Division 1 Collegiate athletes, I am excited for the next step in exploring my Collegiate experience. I hope to hear from you soon.
