Carlos Rivera '21 Recruiting Profile

What I believe makes me a good candidate is that I have worked very hard to get where I am today, and my parents have worked harder to give me the opportunity to have me play in some top club teams. My one main goal in life is to repay my parents back and thank them for everything that they have done because without them I probably wouldn't be here writing this statement about myself. Going into high school I did not really care about my grades and I was very close to staying back and repeating my freshmen year, but I passed by one point and that moment I realized I needed to take it seriously. Sophomore year my grades improved and teachers noticed the progress I had made as well. I am ambitious and if soccer does not work out I want to build a business, my decision on what kind of business is still uncertain but I am willing to put in the work to make these dreams come true.
