Evan Serkin '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Serkin and I believe that I have attributes that make me an excellent candidate to play soccer in college. I’m an all around player with a strong understanding of the game, solid technical skills and a very competitive edge to my play. I feel that I accept challenges with a determined attitude and  ultimately I will rise to the occasion and become better. As I have gotten older, I have become a stronger, faster player that plays a quick game.

I am a coachable player who responds well to feedback and I have a positive relationship with my coaches. I really listen to my coaches and then I try to do what they said to do.  I do this with a good attitude and a sense of humor because sometimes things don’t always go as planned. I am also a great teammate because I will fight for my team as well as support and encourage them  if they make a mistake. I think its important to stand by your teammates and fight with them.

Additionally, I do well in school and challenge myself with advanced classes. I have taken several honor classes, AP classes, and dual enrollment classes. I am very disciplined to get my work done and study hard in order to do well in school.  I have the same attitude on and off the field, which makes me competitive in whatever I choose to do.
