Andrew Johnstone '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Johnstone, I am 5ft 8in and 160lbs. I am a hard worker, team player, goal scorer, best friend, and captain to my high school team as well as my club team. I play for Palmetto Christian Academy and am a person who works hard on and off the pitch. I am a starter who work hard every minute so when the game is over I dont think to myself if there was anything I could have done better. I am also a starter that plays every game of the season for the full match time without coming off. Even though sometime I may feel tired I get my mentality and muscle memory to the point where I can switch into another gear and finish the match. In 2013 our high school started its first ever high school team. In that season I was the leading goal scorer with 9 goals and 4 assist. I am the type of player that is not afraid to tell his teammates what they are doing wrong, but more  importantly I am the kind of person that will correct myself from the things I am doing wrong. I am the kind of player that is not afraid to take a deep shot from 20 yards of more. I am also the kind of player that in the situation of an opportunity to take a shot or play the ball to a teammate for a better opportunity to score I will do whatever my abilities will allow me to pass the ball to do to ensure that my team has the best chance of scoring in the best situation. My dream is to finish high school and graduate to then move on to the next stage of competitive soccer. To gain a strong education so that will ensure a successful future while playing the sport I love.
