Julian Aristizabal '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Julian Aristizabal and I currently attend Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville, SC. I played my first 2 years of high school soccer at Renton High School in Renton, WA. I have been playing soccer since i was 4 years old and it has been something I've always loved to play and put my passion into my play. I would love to play college soccer because it can can help me become a better person on and off the field. 

I am a quick learner when it comes to being coached and I am open to new concepts on the field and adapt to them. I stay positive on the field and always encourage my teammates. I'm very organized on the field and work well with my teammates. Growing up I started playing outside mid and I found that I can be helpful to my team defensively. I have experience playing center back and defensive midfielder. I am a hard worker in practice and in games. 

Academically, I keep my GPA above a 4.2 and challenge myself by taking AP and Honors classes. I take school very serious because it is an important part in achieving my goals and leading up to a career. 

College soccer is one of my biggest life goals I want to accomplish. I want to make my family proud and become a role model for my younger relatives.
