My goal for college is to secure a first class education to prepare me for a successful career, while also learning from the hard work, discipline and teamwork which comes from being a contributing member as a starter for the first team.
I have played soccer in different countries and regions which has exposed me to different styles of soccer. After moving to Shanghai, China, I started my soccer career playing with players from Asian and European countries. After moving back the U.S., I had the opportunity to attend a weeklong soccer training camp in Brazil which exposed me to a faster paced Futsal style of soccer. I was also in France and Belgium during the 2016 Euro cup which I toured with my club team. While I was there, I had the opportunity to train with youth coaches from Club Brugge KV and R.S.C. Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro league and one of the head coaches for the youth Belgian national team. I also had the chance to play against some Belgian clubs while there.
At club level, I have been coached by Carl Schmidt who is a US youth national team scout. I am currently coached by Toni Carbognani, who himself has played professional soccer in Ecuador and for the New York Cosmos playing with the likes of Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, and Carlos Alberto.
