Ian Sharp '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ian Sharp, and I am currently a junior who attends Harding Acadmey of Memphis. I have a 3.75 unweighted and a 4.1 weighted GPA. I also have a 25 on the ACT, and looking to improve that over the summer! I started playing soccer when I was 9 and have loved it ever since. Freshman and sophomore year I started as a centerback for my varsity team. My junior year, this year, I was bumped up to a center defensive midfielder because my vision is superb, I am aggressive in the midfield, and I have very good ball control. After my sophomore year I was named defensive player of the year for my team which was a tremendous honor because it showed my hard work practicing had paid off. For my club team, I played centerback only, and we competed in the division 2 league for state in Tennessee. What sets me apart from players is my vision, work rate and speed. I aspire to play for a college, university, and or coach who improves me as a person and player and has the same desire to win as me. I am interested in playing on any level whether it be D1,D2,D3, or NAIA.
