Nicholas Dyer '23 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a top academic institution where I can play soccer. I lived independently during my junior year in Nashville while competing with the U17 Nashville SC MLS Academy team. I was able to manage a challenging academic load (IB Diploma Program with 4 HL courses) while training twice a day and traveling most weekends. Once I finished my time with NSC because they do not have a U17 team, I immediately joined the USL squad in Memphis (Memphis 901 FC). I trained with them every day and was signed to an academy contract. I will continue to train with them throughout the year. I am considering a gap year to continue my development with the professional squad before attending college if that is a good fit for the soccer program. I am confident that I can juggle the challenges of being a student athlete in college given my experience over the past 2 years.
