Thank you for reading my personal statement.
Hello future head coach and assistant coaches, I am excited about being on a winning team and achieving success. I look forward to a positive experience being your goalkeeper and sharing my training experiences and winning experiences as a Division I player for several years. After winning Midsouth Regional Division in first place for several years and competing in the National League for several years, I offer confidence and skills to enhance your future successes and wins. I am an excellent listener, aggressive keeper, and exceptional communicator with my defence and team. I call out marks, tell players where to line up for defense, and call for the ball in the back. If you do not communicate effectively with your teammates, then you cannot grow and improve as a team.
Punts and drop kicks past middle and great passing skills, which is not common with some athletes who just like to use only athleticism without soccer skills.Throw balls to teammates over 35+ yards away. I am the last level of defense and eat pressure for breakfast. With my determination and resilience, I cover the goal mouth when diving and perform exceptional in PKs by reading each kickers foot before contact. When the kicker moves, I move. When practicing and playing, I demonstrate a professional and serious attitude in achieving improvement.
As for college/university goals, I will earn a degree in the business and finance, so I can be an exceptional entrepreneur and handle tough and high pressure company decisions as a manager/CEO, upper management. When there is a problem, I find the most effective solution or work till I can move forward in a productive direction. Last of all, a phone conversation/zoom meeting will demonstrate high levels of confidence and character as a player and student. My favorite memory from my head coach told me after a semi-final National League game: "Thank you, that block from the penalty kick saved the team." I play for those soccer moments!
